Alas, I had to say goodbye to my last kernel of Candy Corn. I really miss chewing on the Wowee Whistle Wax Gum. It had such a sweet flavor. They no longer make this delicious treat but mercifully, waxed lips still manage to hang around.
Oh me too. I love peeps but why do they seem alive to me. I can't bear to eat their little faces and eyes even though I adore eating that type of candy. I'm not a big fan of chocolate candy. Chocolate milk, cake, pudding and brownies yes but not candy! Ha ha ha ha!
This is so funny, because I just love candy corns, the pumpkins and chocolate ones too, which I seem to have a hard time finding! It is something about those little things that are plain down delicious! :o) And I remember as kids those little wax lips, what memories!
I'm Deanna and thanks for visiting me here at Timeless Things. I live in San Antonio with my husband Marshall. I'm a thrift store shopper extraordinaire. I love to shop with my friend Patricia of Vintage Linen Treasures or with my sister Cyndi.
My mother started me on my love of vintage, flea markets and thrift shops when I was a little girl. I love when she comes to visit us here in S.A. as we all get in the car and go "thrifting." I love shopping with the girls!!

I have an issue with the Easter Peeps and always get sad when that holiday is over.

Those wax lips really take ya back, don't they? Wow I can remember when they were like ...dare I say it...a penny!
I will miss the candy corn too but I was noticing it was very sweet this year. Pure sugar~probably why they are so popular! LOL! Have a great day.
