I finally have my dream teapot! With the six cups as well! It might be my only Christmas present but that's okay!! I have dreamt of this teapot for years. One of my favorite TV shows is As Time Goes By and Dame Judi Dench's character, Jean Pargetter, had this teapot and the cups. I have always loved blue willow. There is something so homey about it. I can't wait to make myself a cup of English tea and a plate of warm scones with honey and pretend I'm in a quiet village near London looking out of my window which is being hit with tiny drops of dew. The sky is gray and the heather on the heath is flowing back and forth with a cool gentle breeze and.......CRAP!!! My dishwasher just went off. Oh well, back to reality!!
Have a great day my friends,
Deanna :)

How beautiful!!! Sometimes we all need a quick getaway----even if it is through the imagination. That darn reality!!!
This is so awesome~I love this post, the teapot, and Judy Dench and making new friends on the blogs! i lvoe English movies and I have not seen this TV show you are referring to but I plan to look into it via Netflix, ASAP.
P.S. I am so glad your dishwasher is going off...mine has not even started yet. But then you are a few hour ahead of me!

Tell me a about it girlfriend!! I also got a fork stuck in the dishwasher and now I'm going to have to call the service man to come and take a look at it. I need some English tea and a bathtub full of Mango Calgon!!

Sister you are so funny! Ugh reality! Who wants reality! I love your new teapot. I should send you my blue plates. I still need take a picture of my sugar bowl that matches my teapot and creamer. I have always loved As Time goes By. Mike and I used to stay up watching years ago.
Love ya,
Laurie
Duh sister!! You are the one that introduced it to me five years ago along with Keeping Up Appearances. Remember, I told you that Marshall bought me entire series of As Time Goes By last year for my birthday? The best present ever! I could not have made it through the six weeks of recovery from my corneal transplant without that show. Forgive me Lord, I could not have made it without your tender mercies.
Your sissy,
Deanna
P.S. I swear that word verication lately has been putting out some funny words. The other day at Beverly's blog I had to spell POLITE..how cute is that? Over at your blog I had to spell GLOWED and now on my own blog I have to spell ICICLE. Cute.
The teapot is beautiful. I also have a love of teapots and cups.
